The world is becoming more and more technologically centered and students must be prepared to advance in this new era. It may be challenging at first for the teachers to change their curriculum and update their knowledge and scope in these areas yet it is definitely a worthwhile investment. The websites are mostly user friendly and easy to use. Your students will gain a clearer view and grasp on the material taught. It is up to us teachers to take this big step because we will be teaching the builders of this new world.

Edmodo is a great tool for teachers to integrate into their classrooms. It has many great features to assist teachers in enhances their ELA curriculum. Firstly Edmodo allows teachers to post assignments for students to complete in their content area. There is a due date posted on the screen and the teachers can put a lock on the submission past the due date. You can also save the students grades automatically to your grade book. Another great feature Edmodo contains is the messaging tab which is a source of communication between the teacher and students. Through Edmodo parents can also view the progress of their children by inserting their email addressees. The poll feature is another fascinating part of this website where the teacher can create a poll about any topic and receive answers real quick. The quiz feature is another amazing tool where teacher can create quizzes for their students to complete to check their comprehension of the lesson.
